To join your GAA or to renew your membership, select a membership type. As former Tar Heel students, we share a bond that connects us to Carolina and to each other. GAA membership strengthens that bond by keeping us involved in and informed about Carolina's achievements and challenges. It also keeps us connected to our classmates and that very special place called "Blue Heaven." In Carolina's quest to become the nation's leading public university, our University needs the support and involvement of every former student. Approximately 70,000 Carolina alumni have chosen to support Carolina through their membership in the General Alumni Association. GAA member dues assist in preserving the value of our Carolina diplomas through advocacy, recruitment and student enrichment. Additionally, members receive valuable benefits, including our award-winning Carolina Alumni Review, Alumni Career Services, Online Alumni Directory and Online Class Notes with photos. Membership in the General Alumni Association is open to all graduates, former students, current students, parents and friends.
